Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced $166,000 in federal funding from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to support strategic planning for the Village of Cazenovia following the closure of Cazenovia College in Madison County. This investment will help fund a comprehensive market analysis, needs assessment, economic feasibility study and marketing strategy to help create jobs and diversify the local economy.
“This vital investment by the EDA will help ensure that the Cazenovia community is able to capitalize on economic development opportunities and will help create new jobs for the area,” said Senator Gillibrand. “I will keep fighting to ensure that New York communities receive the federal funding they need to prosper.”
