Resources for American Citizens in Haiti

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and her office are here and ready to assist American citizens in Haiti.

Travel Assistance

The airport in Port-au-Prince remains closed. The State Department is exploring departure options for U.S. citizens from Port-au-Prince to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, assuming it is safe to do so.

U.S. citizens who need assistance to depart Haiti should fill out this State Department form. If you have already filled out the form, do not fill it out again; you will receive an email from the State Department with further information.

The latest updates for U.S. citizens from the U.S. Embassy in Haiti will be posted here. U.S. citizens should also enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive important updates.
